Mood: waiting for wind
3rd December 2006
Windsurfing: Camber Sands
Wind Direction: WSW-W
Wind Stength: variable, but strong !
Surf / Sea State: Big sea, lots of white water,
Air Temperature: bearable
Sea Temperature: fine
Weather: changeable
Max Speed:
Distance Covered:

Weather was pretty squally, though most of my time on water was sunny ! Sailed from dunes end as was high tide as arrived, but people heading out from all launch spots as tide backed off groynes at Jury's.

Nice to get another 4.5m manic / Pocket Wave 78 session in so soon after the last one ... if just to prove that it was the hangover meaning i sailed it like a fool last time out.

Much better session this time, some half decent jumps, didn't do much riding but squeezed a bit of backside stuff in while edging back upwind against quite a strong rip current.

Shame the session cut short by 'other commitments' as launching from Jury's for a later session looked to be a great option ... as verified by those who took the opportunity.

Sailing with Rob, Rich & Guy mainly, though approx 30 windsurfers out in total.

Bit chilly barefoot so could be time to dig out the booties for winter ... ho hum, it is december after all
